Mission Golf & Country Club
Our course is a traditional type layout that
comes about through large old growth trees and over 47 years of maturity. Our
membership of almost 300 are mainly golf purists who enjoy a well manicured
course with speedy greens.
The round starts with two tight par 5's followed by one of our B.C.'s more
famous par 3's. All the par 3's are real strong. Our 165 yard #12 hole is where
your tee shot will need to carry the 200 foot deep gorge covering from the hole
from tee to green, but while there enjoy the great vista of the Fraser Valley
and Mt. Baker...you'll see
why this hole has a reputation. The other par 3's are the 5th and 8th holes to
which both rival a PGA Tour type par 3's. They consistently measure over 230
yards each.
You'll have to work the ball at MGCC as it is easy to hit a good drive but then
find your self having to navigate around large 100 year old maples and cedars to
reach a green. Your round will finish with an uphill par 5 that
requires you to hit your approach shot close to the flag as the green is as
tricky a putter surface as you find, and when they're rolling fast your putting
better be good.
